Mediaciones entre la violencia académica contra mujeres y su autopercepción como víctimas

Este artículo explora la violencia académica contra las mujeres y su relación con la autopercepción como víctimas a partir de más de cien entrevistas a mujeres de México y América Latina. Aunque todas reconocieron haber vivido algún episodio de este tipo, no todas se identificaron como víctimas. El análisis distingue tres factores principales que influyen en esta autopercepción: la validación externa, las dinámicas de poder institucional y las redes de apoyo. Desde un enfoque cualitativo, se abordan las complejidades del término “víctima” y su vínculo con las experiencias individuales y el contexto social. El estudio subraya la importancia de comprender estos procesos para desarrollar estrategias más sensibles y efectivas que permitan enfrentar la violencia académica.
